  1. Thank you for adding TouchID support, but it appears you also removed a feature that I need. What happened to the “Upload from desktop” feature? I use that to transfer my KeePass database from my PC to KyPass on my iPhone. Is the feature hidden somewhere else in the app? Or, did you remove it and is there a possibility we can get you to add it back?

Great job on Touch ID!! Thanks. The only remaining issue for me is the scaling when using large text.

  3. Hi, I installed the new version 3.4 yesterday and now I´m not able to start the app 🙁 Every time I open the app it closes immediately. I tried to uninstall and re install the app, but this did not help. I have iOS 7.1.2 installed on my iPhone 5S, could you please check this. Thanks, Adam

    1. Fixed in v3.4.1

  4. Thanks for the Update. TouchID support is great. Do you plan on implementing an extension to log into other apps (1password).
    Great Work.

      1. Any news on 3.4.1?
I’m also stuck with a crashing app on iOS 7.1
Wish I could roll back until then

        1. Available now.

  6. I want to use Touch ID because it’s much simpler than dealing with a password, but I’m having an issue getting Touch ID working with a database that requires a key file. Is this a bug?

    1. Yes. It’s a bug.

  7. Great news on TouchID support.

Unfortunately, iCloud sync seems to be broken know, at least for me.
After automatic app update on Iphone 5S, my database is no longer there (I use iCloud sync with OS X). I can still open my database on OS X with Kypass Companion (the file is still there in KyPass 3 iCloud folder).

If I create a new database (V2) on iphone, the database never shows up in iCloud drive or the older iCloud Kypass3 folder…

Possible hint: on iphone, the new database is locally and remotely stored in a path that shows: “/Test.kdbx” (I checked this by tipping on the i-sign next to the database filename. Could be some kind of a placeholder with needs to be filled with something more meaningful?

This behavior is consistent on two different iPhones, with different iCloud ID’s and Macs.

I would be glad if you could verify this.

    1. The input box ate the path…

      I should read “<DOCDIR>/Test.kdbx” (less-than sign DOCDIR greater-sign).

      1. I don’t understand. Could you explain more ?

    2. Fixed in v3.4.1

  8. I need the old KyPass 3.3 Version! I have iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2 and this new Version 3.4 permanent crashed on this device. Please send the 3.3 Version ipa file to my email address to solve my Problem.

    Thanks a lot!

    Best regards

Will you please fix this attachement issue with 1.x databases? I can slightly understand why you suppress my criticism but I don’t understand why you haven’t fixed it yet with kypass but fixed it for the mac app…

    Dear developer,
since last updates (march 2015) on I devices the “upload from desktop” is missing.
Is this a bug or a feature? I usually synchronized my iphone and ipad with
database stored on pc or notebook. This is no more possible.
Short reply/recommendation how to proceed would be appreciated.
    Thx a lot, greenhill.
