    1. Just select the “Use Touch ID” box when opening the database

I updated to KyPass version 1.9.3 (macOS Sierra) and cannot open my password database. After I select the database file from the selection window, the window disappears and nothing else happens. I reverted to the previous version (1.9.2) that works correctly.

  12. .kdbx File can not be opened since the last update (macOS High Sierra)! Hope bug fix comes very fast …!

  13. Dear support,

I’m using KyPass for 5 years know, not had a problem since . But since today with the latest version 1.9.3 (4005) causes the db file not to open . I suppose it automatically updated ? This is a critical issue . What to do ? thanks in advance for reacting ASAP .

  14. The latest version has a critical issue as mentioned already by other posters. After the update I was unable to open my database (or see any window at all), I was forced to do a time machine rollback.

  15. I just purchased KyPass 1.9.3 on OS X High Sierra, from the App Store.

I can’t open my pre-existing .kdpx database (which was made with KeePass2Android). I select it and hit ‘open’ – nothing happens.

Yes, another one here that now can not open my password database after upgrading to 1.9.3 on OSX 10.13.6

This puts me in a lot of trouble. Any way to downgrade back to a fully working version please?

  24. +1 issue on High Sierra. No windows open, nothing happens, can’t create new file or open existing files. Any workarounds available?

Works for me too. Thank you so much for this beta

  26. I also cannot open any databases. Running v1.9.3 on MacOS High Sierra – 10.13.6. Is there somewhere to download the old Mac version while we wait for the fixes to the released? The v1.9.3 on Mac is completely useless at this point in time.

Hi Howie, The is a beta that solved the issue for me on El Capitain.
Tonight I found out that there is open source KeePass implementation for the Mac called MacPass.
      That works very well too.
      For MacPass see https://github.com/MacPass/MacPass/releases

Would appreciate a quick fix to the issues with High Sierra and KyPass. I am using KeePass on other devices, and miss the functionality on Mac.
