Keyfile support is finished.
Just a few things to verify and I’ll sent it to Apple tonight.

Hi again. I noticed you are making quite a bit of progress on Kypass. Congratulations on that respect.
I wanted to ask you two questions:
1) Are you planning to add support for icon change per record?
2) Are you planning to add support for attachments (and if so, would you consider enabling their transfer in and out of Kypass from and to other apps)?
I think publishing a roadmap for Kypass on this blog would be a very nice idea. It would keep people like me from pestering you… ;-).
Thanks for your efforts so far. Keep up the good work.

Sorry, I forgot to make one further question. Dropbox support is fine and works like a charm, but I think Sugarsync support would be even better. Any plans for that?
Again, thanks for the effort and the hard work.

2 bugs with latest.
1. When i change my dropbox password, kypass does not ask for it.
2. when i change a master password, keypass does not get that.I used keypass to change the Master, and waited and waited but it did not update on the iphone.

Hi, I just want to say thank you… you have a wonderful software, I just want to suggest that a better icon could be great idea…

I am anxiously awaiting 1.3 for its password-file support. I fully agree with the request to publish a developement roadmap. What about publishing a prioritisation poll ? Mine would be to allow local storage of the dB after a connection with dropbox, for support in case of offline access
-
Local access already exists 🙂 You have access to your database even if you don’t have any network.
But I note your request to development roadmap.-
You’re right. I hadn’t realised as I has always used it with internet connection and saw it refreshing with Dropbox. But yes, offline works fine. Anxiously waiting for 1.3 now.

I have linked to a v2.16 keepass database via dropbox just fine, but when I try to open it, nothing happens. The Ok/Cancel buttons don’t do anything, and the Done on the keyboard does nothing either.

Hi! Just upgraded to v1.3, and have one question:
How do you use the keyfile? It looks like there’s no way to select the keyfile from the app menus… 😕
-
I have a large KeyPass file with a lot of attached files. When I enter my password, the click the OK button, it doesn’t do anything for about 10-15 seconds. I can press the OK multiple times.
I’m guessing that because it is large it takes a bit of time to load the entry list.
Perhaps you could do some sort of a spin animation. Maybe disable the OK button and dismiss the keyboard too.
-
Spin animation (or progress bar) is on my todo list 🙂

Hi RedBug!
Thank you for your efforts and picking KeePass application up. This is a great software, I hope you’ll support it badly and as long as possible.
So, I’ve a couple of notices:
Firstly, the icon of app is very… hmmm… not, VERY awful. Absolutely.
Secondly, I would like to suggest you my little help in translation UI and AppStore description page to Russian. Let me know if my offer is interesting for you, please. Thanks a lot!-
Thank you.
I’m not a graphist 🙂 If I have enough people that buy this application, maybe I could pay a graphist to improve the visual part of KyPass.
For the translation UI, I accept your offer gladly 🙂-
Ok, then I’m waiting all the needed files (“Localizable*.*” or *.lproj, AppStore description text etc.) on my e-mail: mr-sannikov [at – sign] yandex – dot – ru

1.3 is very unstable for me. on my iPhone (ios 4.3.3) it crashes a split second after loading the database (stored on Dropbox).
on my iPad (iOS 5 beta 3) Kypass is alive for a while longer but not long enough to view an entry and then crashes 🙁And please some instructions on how to handle keyfiles 🙂
-
Just wait that the dropbox synchronization is over.
For the key files, look the next post on the blog 🙂
-
-
I appreciate if you could consider to import key files also from locations other than dropbox. (e.g. private file server)
-
key file is not synchronized via dropbox. Only by ‘upload from web server’ or by iTunes for the time being.

Please support KeyFiles larger than 128 Bytes
